They’re patriots because they’re loyalty is to America, not to the Bush regime.

All of these institutions answer to the civilian elected government - if they do something bad it’s because the government was bad.

It’s important to place blame where it belongs.

Since it’s our responsibility that we have good government then if any of those institution are bad - then it’s our fault for not being politically involved enough to fix it.

I’m trying to reach middle America here, and calling the FBI and the police traitors isn’t going to do it. When you say they’re loyal to the state, well that’s who pays them and gives them their mandate and authority to operate — the problem here is with “the state” which is why we have to take the state back for the people. Members of the FBI can believe it a just society too.

Look the FBI does lots of good things like catch murderers and rapists. When they do bad things like enforce the antiquated obscenity laws and bust porn producers, well thats because these Christian Conservatives have organized and taken over “the state”.

As evil as the Christian Conservative movement is, isn’t it inspiring that a small committed group can take over the government and get its agenda passed? Look Christian Conservatism is unpopular, while progressive values are VERY popular so our job is gonna be a lot easier.

Hey Messenger!

Thanks for the compliment! I try my best not to rant too much with my opinions but I have been very upset lately when I found out about White Phosphorous use in Fallujah.

And about the Bush/Hitler thing from before I want to stress that thats just MY opinion - Im not the thought police!

I was talking to Pat about this and we kinda agreed that Bush=Hitler arguments fall flat BUT talking about the dangers of ultra-nationalism taking over society are good.

Another good lesson from WW II I think we should learn and talk about with people is that the I was just following orders line to justify atrocities DOES NOT FLY!

A classmate of mine is going off to war because he joined Natl. Guard to pay for college - Its sad but Im gonna give him a going away present and remind him NOT TO FOLLOW ANY ILLEGAL ORDERS!

Illegal orders include shelling cizilian areas with chemical incendiary white phosphorous napalm.

Hey this is Will,

I feel your outrage, dude. However I feel we should stay away from Bush-Hitler comparisons. They don’t go over well with the public, I remember a Daily Show where John Stewart was talking about this.

What happens when people say Bush=Hitler is the first thing the right-winger your argiung with says is when did Bush kill six million jews and then the moderate or undecided people we’re trying to reach say “Hey this conservative is rigt, these anti-Bush people are crazy - no one is as evil as Hitler.”

So I don’t agree with making the Hitler comparison because it is a win for the other side.

What Bush is doing is wrong on it’s own without having anything to do with Hitler.

It’s not enough to be right, we have to be smart about things.

As far as the ID cards and increasing big brother stuff I think we have to accept the march of technology and work to make sure WE control the technology and not the other way around. There is a great group working to do just that called The Electronic Freedom Foundation Check them out.

Confused on how to post on main page, TECH illiterate. Don’t want to post something stupid on the Main Page because I am trying figure the darn thing out. So I have been reduced to adding comments. They speak of students needing to be in their classes, being taught math(algebra was devised by the ARABS; is that why they hate them so much? Have they not gotten over that yet?, science(creationism) is that even a science? I thought science was something that had tobe proven (what does NASA think of this?), History, My favorite. Funny isn’t, how quick they forget their leader is consistently cutting funding for the academic programs. Hmmm… Do these Neo(NAZI)-Cons have any idea at all what comes out of they are saying half the time atleast? If they had for one moment stopped and picked up a book; they would see a dreadful comparison between the Bush Administration and Hitler in 1933, Reichstag and WTC a.k.a (911). There is enough material out there to see the how this could have been planned by the administration, but for the sake of what can be proven and can not this shall take a small detour. The first thing Hitler did was set restrictions on peoples rights, freedom of speech, rights to privacy, creation of Nation ID cards, oh and lets not forget about the blind Frenzy of Nationalism “Your either with us or with the Terrorist”, - George W. Bush. The Christian Right of now and the Christian Right of then; they just swapped Jews for Muslims. (NO HATE CRIMES THERE!). Fact! G.W. Bush’s grandfather supported, funded, and profited off Hitler and the Nazis. There are enough facts out there, no diggin necessary to know that Bush has lied about WMDs; by the way… what happened to Osama? Did you know that 7 of the 19 Hi-jackers are still alive; they knew how to parachute too. Soon all passports will have a RFID chip inserted. The Gov’t tells you they are safe, but hackers still say they can access your personal information. Bio-chips are just around the corner; trying to sneak those in the human-body by selling you on computerized Medical records; funny how they cann’t computerize the medical records with out inserting a bio-chip. Last, but certainly not least New National IDs, ratification of driver lincenses in 2008. Some fun things to go and look up; have fun, stay ontop of your game. There is no sooner TIME to ACT then NOW!

Attention should be paid to getting those that are ill informed, Well informed. There are some many things taking place and the Media (Corporate Media) that is has a way of letting the facts slip and pushing this fascist agenda ahead of truth. Just keep in mind though you bring a physical pressence to the streets; it will do you no good unless people understand. I Saw the movie “Jarhead” the other day and I was appauled by the actions of my fellow Americans. How they could find humor in the mistreatment and abuse of power. To hear people leaving and saying it was kinda boring. This is what we are up against, a society that is so caught up in their Xbox and iPod they don’t care; they see it as entertainment or just turn the page. Mind you i did not pay to see such a flick. I didn’t have it in me to fork over the cash on a movie that might have been Pro-War. The Town needs an awakening and you are a welcomed sight to see.
